BLASPHEMY!!!

I offer you advice.
You ravish me with scorn.
Well I guess that's just the price
Of friendship ever unborn.
Your anger well precedes you
As you lie behind your wall.
Cursing what you know to be true,
The blasphemy of all.

I bid you believe in nothing,
But don't plague me with your truth.
Cause to me that seems the one thing
That was lost deep in your youth.
May the Gods of nothingness
Wreak havoc on you soul.
Feel the wrath of you own willingness
To give up self-control.

If idle hands are the Devil's workshop,
Well just who's the foreman here?
If the road to hell is paved with good intention,
Well then, ain't we gettin' near?
I'd offer a penny for your thought,
If you had two cents worth to spare.
But ignorance is bliss, I almost forgot,
Still that won't get you anywhere.

Spurn my hand and spurn the word
Of every song I've sung.
But by no right to you deferred
Kiss me with that poison tongue.
In a battle of words, you have no chance,
Ah but it's there I realize:
Any and all may fall to circumstance,
In the battle of your lies.

marvelous! this is a wonderful piece, liked the rhyme scheme and several phrases did stand out.

well ok the ENTIRE third stanza was superb. also the last four lines. hehe
