I look...

I look into the mirror...

Staring back is a lonely soul.
A broken man
filled with anguish.
A painful heart
filled with hurt.

A reflection of me,
of what I once was.
Happy for Love
joyful for life,
engrossed in compassion
with a partner forever.

A reflection of me
of what I once had.
A companion in my dreams,
a friend to trust,
a Love to feel completely.

A shadow of me now....
of the mistakes made
of paain caused
of trust broken
of confusion throughout.

I turn away from the mirror
and walk away to dissappear.

and walk away to disappear....

JennyLee.....thanks ......I am beginning toi think that a lot of people feel this way...some just don't remember to look hard enough to see the true reflections.
