i am overwhelmed with what life brings to me, so many things to ponder. i sit and while the hours away, things are ever in my wonder. to sit and watch life pass me by, i have a total fear. darkness shrouds my very eyes, unless your standing near. since i was a little boy, with all lifes little sparks. in fear i clutched my favorite toy, at the approaching of the dark. as i grew older, in my teens, i forgot about those fears. my soul grown callous,hard, and mean, to bold to shed a tear. in the twilight of a man to be, my soul began to shred. love had finally conquered me, i was soon to wed. i had no room for thoughts of fright, my heart consumed with fire. i would boldly claim, bring on the night, the darkness i desire. my youthful age has fled away, leaving me with doubts. my fears come back in a haunting way, when the light is fading out. darkness overcomes my soul, once again it seems. enshrouds me with it's blackened shoal, and covets all my dreams. stand by me and hold my hand, help me through the night. when you are there to help me stand, the dark turns to light. me. |

Well expressed, M. It's not a sign of weakness, it's merely a recognition of the frailty of life and the power of the darkness to consume our lives without some kind of support. It seems you have it in a mate, but I hope you can look at this forum as another.
