FALLING STAR I asked someone what true love was, They said, "It's just a falling star. A glimpse of light in a darkened world, It'll never take you far. You'd be a fool to wish upon it, You see wishes never really come true. You're just opening up to a razor, That'll cut the very heart out of you." But me, I've always been the dreamer. You know I've lived by my own rule. I never thought I could love anyone, But then I'll always be your fool. For when I heard your voice calling, I had to run to your side. Up in the sky I saw the star falling, But I still went along for the ride. Now maybe I just should've listened, For that definition of love was right. You see I wished my life upon it, And I wished myself to hell that night. The razor's cut my chest apart, Blood's dripping from your hand. The very hand that's crushing my heart, For reasons I'll never understand. No, I don't understand why you've cut me. And left me bleeding here all alone. No, I don't understand my own feelings, Still in need of the love you once shown. And I'm only bleeding for your love, No, I could never make it on my own. Caused my falling star, in this darkened world, You're the only glimpse of light I have known. ------------------ D.O. Fear is overcomable, life is fleeting. Dreams are reachible, love completing. |

Oh, wow.........this is so heartbreaking.....I have wished upon the smae star as you (against my better judgement) and have yet to pay for it....though I know someday I will.....this is truly a masterpeice. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
