It's almost dawn I'm still awake There's only so much I will take Ere the Dark One's gliding form appears And blades me home in wretched tears I need my love But she's not there I need so much It isn't fair Still the Unspoken's silent steps approach For night is his, he will encroach Upon my soul And heart tonight He's now my love How can I fight? I flash upon what could have been I think, And think, And think, Again And then leap up From Sorrow's grave My fearful, useless Life to save So Darkness stops, no love he lacks When seeing I'm not turning back Does my soulmate live? I do not know Is there hope for me Tomorrow... No rest for the wicked. ------------------ Right out of the grave they came and made small talk. --"In Honor of Their Daughter"-- ==John Mosher== [This message has been edited by Deep Blue Me (edited 11-07-1999).] |

Ere the Dark Ones gliding form appears. Wow DB how simply Gothic Jenny ------------------ Love is an attempt at penetrating another being,But it can only succeed if the surrender is mutual. |

Does that make me wicked? - cause I never sleep. Good poem D.P., I really enjoyed this one. ------------------ D.O. Fear is overcomable, life is fleeting. Dreams are reachible, love completing. |
