Don't let them fool you kiddies,
'Bout this thing called "Hallowe'en",
For it ain't no coincidence--
That it rhymes with HOLLOW SCREAMS!!

Be dazzled not by the Spector
For all the free candy, don't look,
For it is but dangiling worm
On a deceptively baited hook!

For out there are many Monsters
In the grass, all around are snakes,
Mischief awaits the unsuspecting
Heed this fair warning, for your sake!

But if you should still want to venture
In your greedy disguise anyway,
Then come and knock on my door--
I'll welcome you in as fair prey!
