Walking through the darkness
Waiting for the fog to fade
Always, often, wondering
Is this the life I've made?

Married young and babies too...
Thought he was the man for me
Thru years of wars and hateful words
I know happiness can not be

I truly once did love him
And for him I would have died
But his actions and lack of emotions
Have left me only to sit and cry

I want my family happy
My children to feel blessed
And now I'm in this darkness
Sad, empty, and depressed

I take the pills they tell me to
And talk at least once a week
The therapy leads me nowhere
But to wonder what I seek

Would it just not be better
If I left and let them go on?
But my girls do mean the world to me
And for them I would long

So its' another day to pass
As I look for the shining light
Finding my way out of darkness
Please Lord.....Lead me out of the night!

This is a deeply disturbing piece to me. made me feel married again..Yikes! That was living hell and I can see it is for you to. Your emotion is pure, and the piece is written well...and you've answered all question in the last line, God bless you.
