It's raining again from clouds I thought would only obscure the sun momentarily. But it's been days since dawn poured through my blinds. The sun would probably cheer me, but who wants to be cheered? I'll walk in it, stare at it, swallow it drop by drop till it floods all of me And takes with it the worthless, wartish dreams of a love that broke mid-sentence along with my heart. The rain tells me I'm a fool to cry as it pounds my upturned face How did it see the tears? |

I really like this one....but a day will come that the clouds clear and the sunlight shines...just becareful......sometimes the sun comes out far too brightly. ------------------ "Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage." -Billy Corgan- |

Creativity tends to flow from the darkest corners where we can be alone in our thoughts. I don't care too much for sunlight myself, SD. How about you? Love your stuff, D.B. ------------------ Mirror, mirror, I confess I can't escape this, emptiness No more reason to pretend Here comes that same old feelin' again ----------------Snowblind ................STYX |
