Daylight is shunned
By the arrival of night.
At the first glimpse
Of the pale lighted moon,
Looking so complete
Yet all alone.

I am caught in a trance
Staring at my comfort in the night
When I feel the beast approach.
He stirrs my soul
And rips at my body,
Until I look nothing
Like myselfe in light.

This monster of sorts
Arrives within, inside my being.
I, muttled by his strength
No longer try to fight.
This has happened all to often
But only lasts a little while
Each time my night light
is reflected down on me.

Through these eyes
I now know only peace
My fear of the world is gone.
No longer scared
Of the world or myselfe.
I am beginning to like
My sweet night light.
The hunger grows inside
I need to go out and rage.

Rage I must, in all it's worth
To feed this hunger
And quench my thirst.
Hidden among the shadows
I see her standing there.
My food, my drink, my life
Is in her now.
She is all I see, all I feel
Inside I boil, I need her so.
This one is perfect beneath wolfie's night light.

If she comes willing
I could never hurt her.
If not, I must resume
My search for canine love.
I have forgotten my rage,
And feel a new completeness.
She saved my from myselfe
Just who would have thought.
A werewolf at the night's mercy
Could fall in love with a mortal.

Hey, wait a minute, is that hair
Growing on her cheek?
Claws, paws, fur, and teeth?
Oh, my night, do not deceive,
Can this be true,
The perfect match for me is you?
YES oh, YES! Share with me your mind
As we share our pale night light.

I don't know what to say. It's lively, but kind of stilted, like it's a race and weirdspeed is the goal.
