I wanna go lay in a field cold rain falling down on me. I wanna write of all the pain and call it poetry. I wanna pack a little bag with just my favorite clothes. I wanna run away from here to a place where no one knows. I wanna sit under the table arms wrapped around my knees. I wanna make it go away won’t someone help me please. I’m trying to make the tears stop but always they are here. I smile for the masses and go home to hide in fear. Humor is not helping I can not seem to laugh. Obstacles keep springing up to trip me in my path. I’m so ashamed I can’t believe I’m letting this get the best of me. I want to scream, I want to shout. Honestly.. I just want out. |
