I was compelled to write the poem below, after reading Kynder's "Deceptive Beauty". Thank you Kynder! I went straight off-line and wrote this - I haven't edited it... so your thoughts would be appreciated I'm talking to you but you don't look at me You hop up and down, don't look me in the eye, beauty, I'm a she. Frustration, I feel, desperation because of beauty, of my face Because of beauty, I'm meant to be a brick short, wish I was in another place. Friendship is good, my friend, until you thought I was your competition Please, it's not, I swear, beauty is nothing, here is my petition. To be normal, plain, it is such a deep longing Men, women and friends, all I'm wanting is to be belongin'. |

The other side of the coin, so well put! And so unfortunte that we always want to be what we're not! Comments: Friendship is good, my friend, until you thought I was your competition I would change the 'is' to 'was' there Uta Lotharingia "Wir wollen nicht Wert und Sinn ... wir wollen Unwert und Unsinn" Raoul Hausmann |
