I was compelled to write the poem below, after reading Kynder's "Deceptive Beauty". Thank you Kynder! I went straight off-line and wrote this - I haven't edited it... so your thoughts would be appreciated ![]() I'm talking to you but you don't look at me You hop up and down, don't look me in the eye, beauty, I'm a she. Frustration, I feel, desperation because of beauty, of my face Because of beauty, I'm meant to be a brick short, wish I was in another place. Friendship is good, my friend, until you thought I was your competition Please, it's not, I swear, beauty is nothing, here is my petition. To be normal, plain, it is such a deep longing Men, women and friends, all I'm wanting is to be belongin'. |

The other side of the coin, so well put! And so unfortunte that we always want to be what we're not! Comments: Friendship is good, my friend, until you thought I was your competition I would change the 'is' to 'was' there Uta Lotharingia "Wir wollen nicht Wert und Sinn ... wir wollen Unwert und Unsinn" Raoul Hausmann |
