you say that you love me but that your not so sure if I'm the one you want for the rest of your life just take my heart and rip it from my breast beat it unmercifully and don't let it rest you've hurt me before not to long ago but you said that you wanted to work things through so work I did with all of my might I cooked and cleaned both by day and by night I made it so that you didn't have to do anything that you didn't want too I thought things where getting better with time but its one year later and you just fed me the same line that your not sure if its marriage you want and all over again you've broken my heart after all thats been said and done you show no signs that anything has taken place no thoughts to the words of rejection or the hurt and pain on my face WHY DON'T YOU JUST PHYSICALLY BEAT ME??? it certain couldn't hurt more than having you stomp my broken heart to the floor then your little friend Diamond called the other day after I told her we're engaged she had nothing to say and to this day we go on living like nothing is wrong I keep going throught the motions all broken and torn I love you so much but I can't keep on going like this I can feel the walls encrotching slowly brick by brick by brick around my wounded heart they do set down its so hard to smile so much easier to frown I am hurting so badly but you don't feel my pain you just go on living your life while I feel myself slowly going insane WHAT HAVE I DONE THAT WAS EVER SO BAD??? to have to suffer like this, at the very hand of the man I trusted enough to give my very heart and soul too? I should have been wary I should have been wise and realized men are incapable of telling you anything but LIES..... |

oh oh OHHH!!! you know i was likin the piece all the way to the part of...men are incapiable of telling anything but lies..WRONG. and you know I was just about to ask you to marry me, you cook...you clean...and by the sounds of it, your are very capiable of loving...hmm sounded perfect..lol..very good piece keep up the good work sweetie -Richie aKa JoKeR ------------------ Is it really better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all? Thank you all for your comments.... Watch666 & Joker, I know all men don't lie but this was written at a very painful time in my life and I had no other way of venting my hurt and anger so hence this poem was born.... Things are a lot better now... Tammy |

Glad to hear things got better, T. Most men are deceitful pigs. I know, 'cuz I was the King of All Pigs for years. General laziness and refusal to grow up caused most of it for me, along with a few bad habits I needed to kick. I hope every day that I don't slip back to that lifestyle. Some days are harder than others. This was really nice work, sorry for rambling. DB |

DeepBlue, Thank you for your honesty. I'm sure that you are no longer the "king of pigs" nor will you ever be again. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece, I found it very easy to write with so much pent up feelings... though it took me months to actually look at it and then to decide to post it.
