You think you know love I assure you not Love, what does it mean When do you know that love is what you've got I have suffered at its hands My heart being twisted by it My eyes bled the tears of hurt Countless hours of emptiness in me would sit Did love spare me the tormentment No, it fed and inspired my pain So much piercing in my heart What did I have to gain Pure space and endless torture Was both my foe and friend I have learnt something from this That the torture of Love will never end [This message has been edited by LeeAnne Dk (edited 06-10-2000).] |

~First,...WELCOME!!! Next,...this is a great window into where your heart is right now (or whoever this is about). Write this pain right out of you...it helps for me atleast a bit. Take care...great poem. *Peace. |

I do feel the same way "everyday i hide and dry my tears, but the hurt just won't go away I guess the wounds and scars of falling in love is here to stay" |

Firstly welcome to the dark forum The pain never leaves but it lessens, and then lessens more till it is just an uncomfortable memory... It'll happen it may take time but it will, in the meantime - vent here in dark, it really helps I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Love provides such pain. Without loss, though, where would be the gain? Awesome poem. Keep them coming! Jeffrey |

LeeAnne Welcome I´m new here too so I think its nice to meet other rookies here and read their poems. Like the way you make me think with your poem, wandering whether it´s worth it. But it is my friend, it´s worth every bit of pain on the way... Keep up the good work... -nando- Ask me how to live your life, and this to you I´ll say: make your choises true and wise, so that when tomorrow will arise, you´ll smile at yesterday... |

I hear you... Why must love be pleasure intermingled with such pain? The pain must be there somewhere, lurking, otherwise the love means nothing. There never can be true trust, the more you open up the deeper cuts and more pain. ...and just when you think that you come out of the darkness, it drags you back in again |
