Mortal fragility, Immortal depth, Inside a tempest, Too painful to disect. Words never spoken, Yet understood, Hopes often broken, Losing the good. A lifetime of unanswered questions, An eternity of shattered dreams, Even my lodgings 'tween Heaven and Earth, Unearthed and ripped at the seams. Broken promises, Unrealised desires, Nothing known, Can quench the fires. Immoral beings, Draw force and gather, There is so much more, Much more we'd rather. Past lives not known bring pain, Futures unknown bring hope, Finding the median is the plan, Does anyone really understand? Faded memories, Dreams untold, I'm already there, Don't need to grow old. Though I'm only in my thirties, To me I sometimes feel old as time, And you read these futile attempts, To tell my story in rhyme...... I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

We hear your story Much like our own We know your glory The seeds that you've sown Though fragile you are And fragile you be You're our shining star Far across the sea. . . Great poem Isis. . . ---------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Yes. Doesn't it all seem so meaningless sometimes? But then there are the things in life that make it worth while. Sometimes when I just look at a cloud or a stone I feel really happy that I have the opportunity to be in this world! I wish it was possible to always feel like that! Great stuff. Sven's reply in verse is lovely, too. Uta Lotharingia "Wir wollen nicht Wert und Sinn ... wir wollen Unwert und Unsinn" Raoul Hausmann |

hey there Isis it's been a while since i've read you... i had exams that i'm glad are over... this poem was beautiful...though sad in a way...see you around... If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Avanti Rao |

A walk by the ocean or in the rainforest or on the rolling green pastures always gives my soul a lift, trouble is with no car (hubby has it for work) I can't get there when I'd Like or NEED to Avanti, Hi hon welcome back, thanks for responding. Yes kid it good. But you have a full life ahead and it can change if you let it. love ya kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
