Dear people around me I'm sorry to say But I choose to take my life today If you want to know why? Just listen and I'll tell About the life I've lived with the devil in hell When I was thirteen I was molested by my father Try to stop him, my mother didn't bother When I was sixteen I was confessing to my preacher That I was being harassed by my high school teacher By the time I was eighteen I was pregnant and married When I was nineteen my husband and daughter were buried Killed by a drunk driver in a car wreck He went through the windshield, she broke her neck Now I am twenty-one and considered grown So I choose to take the life I once called my own I am writing this letter to express my voice But I'm selecting death by choice This is about a young woman who has had a realllly rough life and has no other choice but to end it... this all happened to a friend of mine but I'm glad to say that she got help and has started over. |
