Your pain has been felt In the fake smiles you put forth Many others have delt But I cry because you crumble You dont realize how far out youve gone For every tear i give you stumble I stand back and count the days When all that is left are tears Watching as even you fake smiles decay Tripping till you fall into your own grave I stand helpless and sarrowful This isnt at all your price to pay And maybe you sleep well in your head Your burning up faster than you know On the outside only I see that your already dead The clothes you wear can not hide the scars With a thousand more miles to go Your wrecking yourself, twisted metal of a car Crash course at full throttle Take another sip Jesus in a bottle We are all losing in the end I cant face your denile The days become a mess as your whole life blends I remember your real smile [This message has been edited by Ember (edited 06-08-2000).] |

A very good example of the slow "decay" of alcoholism. I'm impressed. I loved the "Jesus in a bottle" line. |
