Oh my, how I miss the way my dark garden once was... all of the sweet petals that once grew here from this now dead flower: My world! Where have all of my "Sweets"(frinds) gone... the emptiness of thier once heart filling fragrances is now stentch? Where have all that touched this black abyss gone...the petals that floated softly into this dark heart, and once again, let it know it could feel? Where have all of the soothing words of the flowers gone...months change the growth of friends as seasons like winter kill all that is soft and fragrant... Where have all of my Sweets petals gone? Where has all the existance of my Dark garden gone... wilting to its demise as thick streaks flow innocently from my red stained eyes. There is an alter ego which dwells in every soul... a-alibaster |

~WooHoo,..bravo. I so enjoyed this piece. Marvelous expression here. Truly a great poem. Although the poem is saddening,(which is so ok,..I'm just sad for you)... I love the way you represented the friends as flowers and your life the garden. Beautiful. Take care. *Peace. |

Thank you both very much! Once in a while I seem to get a bit sentimental... Spitfire...all I could think of was a garden full of lovely deep purple/black roses wilting and dieing. : }~ Kynder...I have given up on the fertilizer for my thoughts are the same as yours...Can I take it all dieing again? Once again...many thank yous to you both. There is an alter ego which dwells in every soul... a-alibaster |

Just tremendous work in this poem kid. you have weaved a tail of friendship gone and the fragrance of heart felt words. great work kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
