I see my home across the plain heat shimmers a sea blocks the way My home Ive never been but i have seen and i picture it in my heart In my eyes the heat burns but i know i will succeed because my home is in my heart is in my hand so all of this i own "Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!- prophet still, if bird or devil!- Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore, Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted- On this home by horror haunted- tell me truly, I implore- Is there- is there balm in Gilead?- tell me- tell me, I implore!" Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." |

Simply and well put. I like the additional location of home...in the heart AND the hand. It alludes to the control we have over where we belong, if we indeed belong in any one place! |

My home Ive never been but i have seen and i picture it in my heart In my eyes the heat burns but i know i will succeed because my home is in my heart is in my hand so all of this i own -------------- perfect poem of reflection walter... indeed..."all this i own" excellent my friend later-kind poet gator jm I think I could need - this in my life I think I'm just scared - that I know too much I can't relate and that's a problem I'm feeling ... If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home There's an awful lot of breathing room But I can hardly move If you're gone - baby you need to come home cuz there's a little bit of something me... In everything in you. ~MB20~ "What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly" ~Lao Tze Tao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |

yes home. I'm still searching for it. sigh. Thanks kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
