Could someone tell me, Why someone so far away, Has come to mean so much to me, Makes my soul laugh and play? Why someone I've never even met, Affects my life each day? Makes a difference in the mundane, How just a few words can take those blues away? Having taught me much, A kind of mentor, Understand me so well, I need not close the door. I can be myself, Every weird little thing, In that prescense, I hear freedom's bell ring. A smile each day, A short email, The odd poem or card, Happiness prevails. Uncanny the likenesses, The same heart and soul, The same spirit inside, A friendship that'll never take it's toll. It's amazing, I've been blessed, I'm so happy to have found a kindred spirit, A precious gift of understanding, I pray nothing will ever end it. I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

You echo my feelings with this one Isis. It is indeed an amazing feeling, I am so very glad that you have experienced it.  Your work is always good but when you write with a happy heart it gains a little something....I hope to see more of this from your pen. Great work! hey girlie-girl...  well i LOVE this poem... and i know so well the emotions you express here... i found my kindred soul mate on line and it changed my life forever. we need not meet face to face or physically touch to touch anothers heart and soul. wonderful poem you two are wonderful together take care later-lisa-gator jm I think I could need - this in my life I think I'm just scared - that I know too much I can't relate and that's a problem I'm feeling ... Isis that was beautiful. This was just beautiful Isis. Finding a friend that you can share, laugh, cry, and dream with is a preciuos gift. Savor it. Treasure it and it will last forever. |
