...Pounding...
Deafening in my eyes
Heard only by my mind
I try in vain
to cover their bleeding sounds
Yet, they get louder
I can not even hear
My own thoughts echoing
off in some far distance
that seems unreachable
to my pale existence.

I know this feeling, it is frightening but in times like that I retreat inside and hibernate in myself.
