Think Again As the world is filling with pollution, We scramble to find a solution. But what people don’t understand, Is the answers right in their hand. We try to build new tools, And create a bunch of new rules. But when all is said and done, The real problem has just begun. When ever you build something new, You usually use something we cannot renew. Instead why not try rethinking, Before the world starts sinking. For every tree we cut down, Another smile turns to a frown. Oxygen is what we need, But will give it up out of greed. For every ocean that is filled, Another animal is innocently killed. Water is what we are, And the earth has yet another scar. The world is coming to an end, If we do not start to mend. The ozone will soon be gone, And we’ll shrivel up into a crouton. As dramatic as this may seem, I only have one dream. For the world to be restored, And nature not to be ignored. By Necro Draconis |

True words my friend, Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Well said... I agree, but I continue to drive a car to get to work. Why are we so lame. Why don't we make our votes speak for us. What will it take? |

Good work Necro and a very important message for us all I work in environmental conservation, so this is a subject very close to my heart. if everyone does a little bit to help solve the problem, it all adds up to a lot. In fact, here's a challenge for you all. Everyone that reads this, go plant a tree some time this year. Ok, so you're only planting one tree... why bother? Well, if a hundred people read this and a hundred people all plant a tree, that's a BIG difference |

as a lover of nature, I related to this so much. The garden was the first thing created, even before man, I think that speaks volumnes, we have neglected the lushness of earth for steel, cold building....and we are paying for it. good insight Kathleen [email protected] |

Great work, great thoughts. It is up to each of us to do do something to stop the carnage. It takes just one to start, it will grow from there. God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown |

This poem is inspirational and it has a different message. Most sad poems you see deal with suicide, death, or something to that effect. Your poem has to do with an everyday evil and it really makes you think about what you are doing here. |
