Slowly, gently, I come to you in the night stealing, barefoot, into your dreams. Softly, quietly, hidden from the light, I creep, unseen, unheard, unfelt, sowing the seeds of my poison, taking your will, your soul and bending, slowly bending, bending them to my own. Guard well your dreams, for I will take them all for I am the demon within, yes, I am the demon called Love. |

A-a Glad ya liked it... it was one of those poems I just "had to write" and the imagery seemed to flow as I was writing, like it had a life of its own! X... to have a poem called "Great" by you is truly praise indeed and ta muchly for the warm welcome. My poetry has been a bit thin on the ground of late, but I seem to be going through an "able to write stuff" spell so hopefully more soon  And Isis, thanks for your reply Yup, you're right of course, we all need a bit of that scary old demon in our lives!now, I think, time to try and write another... thankyou all for the encouragement |

I like th imagery in this poem. Although I've never experienced this demon first hand, it seems like he's a pretty scary fellow! Nice work! |
