Love you or hate you That's the question at hand heart says to love Mind says to hate I just cannot understand... Willing to love Willing to hate Still loving another Still making me wait Anger in your heart While she is with another Making me wonder... Why should I even bother Why do you lie to me? You're clearly still confused Making love to me... Making me feel used Heart being broken Crazy...insane When from this nightmare Will I be awoken So many reasons more You have given me to love Breaking through the walls of my heart Flying in as beautiful as a dove Loving me so tender Like I've never felt before Making me ache... Making me want for more Crying tears of joy When our bodies are entwined Causing me to think Have I been so blind? Then again it starts The confusion sets in... When will you stop playing games When does happily ever after begin? |

Another great, expressive poem. I especially liked the way you ended it with: When does happily ever after begin? Sadly, it is I do not believe exists. It is a nice fantasy though, isn't it? Wonderful job once again. ~* Megs *~ I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived. -- Margaret Mitchell |

Sadly with some there is no happy ever after. If you can't see the foundations now, maybe you have some decisions to make. Either way I hope you do find your happy ever after soon. *hugs* I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

I refuse to believe that there's no happily ever after, Am I the only one? I hope not. This poem hurts more than your others. It must be a progression in pain. but it is a great expression. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Thank you all for your comments...it has been a while since my last entry. I had been trying to collect my thoughts and I came up with a couple of new poems that expressed my mixed emotions. Night Chica - thanks for reading my poems and welcome to the forum Isis - I completely agree with you. Too much drama...no foundation. Joel the Wolf - Unfortunately, I do believe happily ever after or else I wouldn't be hurting like this. But I have come to terms that it just isn't my time yet. Again, thank you all for your response. |
