Home at last As I walk down and untravled path, I wonder what waits ahead of me. I look around at the beauty before me, A sense of peace enters my soul. As I come upon a stream, I stop and think about the past. How many people have been where I am, And experienced the tranquility I feel. The starry sky reflects on the water, As the moon light caresses all that is near. The owl above me hoots a song of love, As a raccoon splashes about. The trees are most beautiful at night. The light shines upon them with such grace. They stand tall and show how majestic they really are, As the plants underneath peer up as if in appreciation. As I sit here I am one with the earth, A feeling that only a few have felt. As I sit here a thought comes over me, I am home at last. By Necro Draconis |

At home in the forest is truly felt. this is a great expression on finding a home. I have found peace there also. Thanks. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
