Never has a truer word been spoken than, "I love you." Never have I told myself that, "there is someone who wants to be there for me." Never have I truly felt together and not missing something. Never have I wanted to be more than I am to someone like I do with you. Of all those times when "never" could describe me I never thought I'd find a lover who would make me whole. A lover who could make me forget all of the ways I tried to fill my life A lover who could turn a broken heart into this heart of gold. You saved me from myself and made me want to become something else. No one has ever made that change in me, no one has ever loved me like you do. I look at you when we lay side by side and my eyes fill with tears because of you because I can look in to you and feel you loving me...and me loving you. I've never had a lover who was so sure of what she wanted or what she has I've always struggled with people who were so unsure, it made me unsure. I've searched my life it seems looking for you, I knew you before I ever met you. I don't care if there's years between us, those years have made us the match that we are! I am the youth, that you lost in failed relationships and I give that to you. You are the strength, that I lost with people who drained the life from me and you give it to me. You are the beauty and love and the special place that I hold deep in me like a fire that burns and I warm my hands and my heart by it and it fills me up! Together we have created a labyrinth of moments that will only grow and be more beautiful. The times we've shared weigh more than the combined moments of my previous life and they will only be heavier and more special with time and more sharing. I look ahead with such wide eyes and I see us together in every situation being so happy. And I am...I'm so happy with you...and that's all I've ever wanted from anyone. I love you and I love my life with you...and it's never going to end. "I've run with every setting sun and oft exposed my bowels, and soared with every eagle, that hooted with the owls." |
