My strength has grown The truth I was shown Stretch marks on my soul Scars on my heart Life ripped to pieces Gotta learn new stitches To sew my quilt of Now I know Thumbs calloused from Past needle pricks Repetitive motion Burns the wrist But I press on Determined to complete this Before the other shoe Falls And Love's cold hand Makes a call. *****kynder The years teach much which the days never know. Kynder~ I like the idea of quilting as you used it. 'To sew my quilt of Now I know' Each little phase of life becomes a square to be stitched into the 'quilt of life.' Hope you find some 'happy' squares. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Did you know I sew also? I make animal puppets. haha this consept is great, I love new ideas that show greatness. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
