"Goddess" Does pain ever end, Memories cease to be? Shall I ever be happy inside me? Do you understand What it is I'm trying to say? Goddess knows, I wasn't made this way. Events occurred lifetimes ago, It hardened my heart, my soul also. If I close my eyes Will you fade away? Memories-Nightmares You're all the same! Just go away! Leave me in peace! Let me find solace, Just once in sleep! Blessed be my dreams, I pray, Goddess make them go away! Let the sun shine As Luna sweeps the shadows clean. Such beautiful words...to find inner peace is the goal of us all. I feel this poem is fluid and moving...very touching. I tip my hat to you, and hope you find that which you seek! ^_^ LadySofia "To the innocent and ancient ones, the sparks which light our fires." Amanda Piatt |

Welcome to dark passions my friend. Memories-Nightmares You're all the same! I feel this part of your poem it hurts. this is a great start here. you seem to have a knack for it. Keep writing kid. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Joel-Yes, you are so correct, that is the climax of the poem. In my mind, the voice of the poem really begins to echo with the pain of all the past hurts, and endless emotions.LadyS, Isis, and Serenity-I wrote this a few years ago, and yes, finally I found the solace I sought for what seemed lifetimes. I have found peace with my past. There is warmth in the Sun...Cyndey |
