The battle rages ever onwards,
Dark clouds gather over evil worlds,
No rest for this warrior tonight,
No rest until the evil takes flight.

With sword and charkra in hand,
I face another evil foe,
I battle for love and peace,
I take my stand, I never shall let go.

His strength is mighty, I must confess,
But no longer can he hold these villagers under duress,
I call upon my warrior team,
Together we shall slay this being.

Red eyes just like the fires of hell,
In his heart only hatred dwells,
Apostle, messanger from another realm,
He has all the powers of darkness within him, he stands alone at the helm.

With Angelus and Ares by my side,
We will not fail this eve,
I feel it in my heart,
Tis something I know and believe.

Swords clash and sparks fly,
The demon roars out his hatred,
'You'll be warm in hell tonight!' he declares,
An outcome we simply fail to believe.

With love and honour on our side,
We fight strong and hard,
We are in the portal,
Where love and darkness collide.

'Your love and powers fail you!, he sneers,
'Neither mortal nor immortal can defeat me!'
I reply, 'The stronger heart shall win!'
He laughs with his vampyre like grin.

We battle on, villagers all run and hide in fear,
They too are praying we will succeed, and all evil will disappear,
With the power of three we corner this beast,
His back against the wall, for the first time his eyes show fear.

I raise my trusted sword and plunge it mightily into his chest,
Chasms of blinding light appear , we are close to succeeding in our quest,
Angelus rushes forward puts his fist in the open wound,
And pulls out this monsters evil heart, and hurls it across the room.

He stands there for a moment, as his monsterous life drains away,
And Ares with sword in hand simply severs the pus filled heart like vessel,
The monster as he collapses dying says, 'There are more, many more coming this day!'
'And all mankind are going to pay!'

With that his last breath leaves him,
His body turns to dust,
Thankfully mankind prevails again this day,
And we're ready to face our next battle, as all good heroes must.

At last I have heard the song of enlightenment.... In your heart you can hear it now, if you listen....
It is the song your spirit has been singing since the moment of your birth.  All lasting victories are won in the heart....

Excellent Isis,
the power and strength are very in evidence here. . . the battle does indeed ever rage, but with honor, truth and light on our side, we will win. . .

Superb poem my friend. . .

I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.
