Must I be insane? For I am always in pain I need to know, what is it like To be in pain and not feel insane What is it like to not feel To for once, not care And dare to scream in agony Scream in anger Scream, for my depression Scream, for my shattered dreams Scream for my life Scream to die Scream to ease the pain Scream to have my peace of mind And scream to be sane. No longer do I know what I write What I feel What I am What I am supposed to be And what I am supposed to do. I am tired and depressed For many years ago I have not been the same Which is why it is easy To get lost within myself. I am, only a mere reflection Of friends and people I have met in the past The days go by fast, when you know That your time is running short Never again will I be the same And as the days go by One question will always remain Who am I? |

SCREAM--SCREAM--SCREAM!! Wow, I loved this, we all need to do that once in a while. There should be "scream rooms" everywhere, and I'm not being facetious. Thanks for the great read. |

Well there is a scream room here in Passions, 'The Alley'. Wonderful work Rene and glad you are home again. Your time in the sun is just around the corner hon, just keep plugging, hopeing and loving, it'll come *hugs* At last I have heard the song of enlightenment.... Who Am I? that is the question, well kid looking in the mirror doesn't help, maybe looking inside? We never really know this answer because it only manifest when we die, Who am I, is what I leave behind. Memories from friends, loves, ideas, poems, words. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

~Wow,...I'll scream with you. This is an emotionally wonderful piece...very expressive. I am still asking myself that same question...it's a journey to the answer...it's also everything Joel said.  . |

All I have to say is, Sometimes you just have to SCREAM as loud as possible! I've done it, and it's a great stress reliever. I definetly relate. Joy |
