A knife struck deep in my heart burns with the intensity of fire, and twisting Digging an endless black hole with which no amount of time could mend, No amount of love could fill So overwhelming in this form, swallowing me whole Wrapped and withered around my skin Feeding off the hope in my heart, the light in my eyes I cry out but no one hears my call for I am silenced by the pride which has washed over me Soaking into my skin to flow as one with my blood "A man's fate is a man's fate and life is but an illusion." -Shogun ~*Angel of Darkness*~ |

No Kid I heart ya. I have been stabbed before and it's not fun, the blood does flow, with tears. I feel this very much, With all my heart I wish you the best. You have poured out your heart here. Joel. With a bucket I got from Spitfire. I'll howl for this tonight also. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Excellent imagery hon, and I know the pain too, fate deals mean blows sometimes. Hey Joel!! I'll join the bucket brigade too. Be strong hon *hugs* At last I have heard the song of enlightenment.... In your heart you can hear it now, if you listen.... It is the song your spirit has been singing since the moment of your birth. All lasting victories are won in the heart.... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Great poem D.E, such intense darkness and emotions, which are so eminently expressed. I know too well these feelings you tell of, and I hope you'll get through it this time to. Take care my friend. ~Broken~ "Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before; But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token" ~Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) "The Raven" |
