It is my fate to be in between Heaven and Earth, When we resist our fate, we suffer, When we accept it we are happy, Our soul is somewhat tougher. We have time in abundance, An eternity to repeat mistakes and/or repent, But, we need only once to correct a mistake, Then at last we hear the song of true enlightenment. That breaks the chain of pain forever, In your heart can you hear it now? It is the song your spirit has sung since your birth, Nuture that voice, that spirit, that song. Nothing happens without cause, The gift of suffering brings us closer to God, It teaches us to be strong when we are weak, To be brave when we are afraid. It teaches us to be wise in the mystical fusion, And to let go of that which we can no longer hold, Lasting victories are won in the heart, Not found within a pot of Gold. BRAVO ISIS!!!!! Do you know how long it takes most people to realize what you have found in this poem? Sometimes, a lifetime, sometimes never. . . Accepting who we are is the hardest thing that we can do, we are accpting that we are not perfect and that we do have faults, but that we are willing to live with them. . . Isis~ This piece is very true and I agree with Sven it does take alot of us nearly a lifetime to ever understand this let alone realize it. You have done well and I applaud you  Tracie~ Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe |
