Drifting down this dusty trail < !signature-->I trek through the unknown Reflecting back now on my tale Of all the seeds I've sown I think of what next will I try And where it is I'll roam Yet with a sigh I pass on by With nowhere to call home I've dispatched those things now from my life That make me feel so bad So tired I am of all the strife And of always feeling sad There's one more thing that I must do Before this change completes I'll see this through I'm talling you Or else my past repeats The road ahead is where I'm lead Stretching beyond the eye to see The questions stuck within my head Ask what is next for me Will I stand or will I fall Perhaps I'll find a wife These questions now I ask them all As I stroll the road of life G. A. Webb Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't [This message has been edited by G. A. Webb (edited 05-09-2000).] |

Hi all. Ok, here's my latest. I came up with this while driving into work (the "one more thing" that I reffer to changing in this piece). I hope you like it. Sorry about the typo. G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

G. A. perhaps you will. I hope I do to. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

SpitFire: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It's been my expierance that the road has many turns. But with enough determination and will you can make it bend in the direction that you want it to go. I wish you the very best on your jurney and thanks again. G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

G~ Go down that road and don't look back, walk straight ahead head held high and always know that things have to get better The road can be long and trecherous but worth the travel you'll see. Hope all your dreams come true T~ Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe |

Like my poem Between Heaven and Earth. The road of life, is twisting, holds many surprises, as we age and wisdom goes, we find our way back on the path, to happiness, peace, hope and love, and eventually a partner, wedding and kids and then further. It is hazardous and painful but worth the effort. Wonderful work A heart and soul are not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Ah yes, I feel this poem. Life to me is a road with many patches, some smooth, some rough and some so dark we have to slow down because the road ahead is unclear. This road also has so many intersections that lead to other intersection. I have found that travelling this road is easier if you take it one intersection at a time. Loved you poem. Thankyou for sharing Paulsm Slow Down, stop to smell the roses and stroll through the garden of life, it will be a more pleasurable experience. I think of you always Honey XXXOOO. |

tracie66: You're right, the road can be a long hard one at times. But one should never look back in regret, rather one should learn from where the road has taken you and try not to make the same mistakes over again. Thank you. Isis: Thanks for reading my piece Lisa. I'm glad to know that you're eye is better. This place wouldn't be the same without you and I think we all agree with that. Thanks again! SEA: Thanks sea! I consider myself to be some what of a wierdo too...lol. Your pride means allot to me, thank you. Lone Wolf: Thanks wolf! May you find all the best on your path as well. Paulsm: I think you're right. I tend to take on too many things at once and need to learn how to slow down and take things one "intersection" at a time. Thank you. Thank you all once again. Your support means allot to me. May your raods lead you to your dreams. G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

The one thing we need to keep in mind on this journey is, Tis not the final destination that is important but the journey itself. Stand tall, walk tall and never lose sight of what is truely important in life. Well done Sir. |

Marilyn: You are most certinally right. People tend to get so cought up in the end goal that they forget to look at what they may be passing along the way. Thank you. G Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |
