I'm crawling in from the cold.
I've seen things that I've never told
and even if I were to expose my heart to you.
How could I ever be sure that you'd be there to hold?

I'm so cold, I've just bent my connection to you.
I said things that I knew were best left alone
but my pride is so strong and my heart so old
I couldn't bear to keep it quiet no more.

I'm lurking within these walls for the first time
was ousted from a place I held so close.
I spit my venom in to the faces that were threatening
and pissed into the eyes of all my hosts.

I walk a line so unforgiven and cold,
I've walked it since I was one years old.
Never will I lose my insane urge to break a heart
or my will break the model and the mold.
