Man On A Ledge

without expression
  he steps
        from the edge
                    and falls
   silhouetting
     the lonliness
            of the city
     in perfect
         understanding
            of
              the
                 night.

In that perfect understanding let him have wings.
Short and good.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

Like Joel I like to think he had wings and didn't fall but flew away from his misery..
Welcome by the way
