I passed through a valley with a misty fog so surrounding. It cuts off the light so much you forget your grounding. It’s a beautiful sight as you drive near, but passing through you develop some fear. It’s dark and light all in the same, you can’t seem to go forward nor back again. As I drive through it seemed a rainbow appeared With a small light that pierce the fog, It’s beauty I held so revered And just for a moment I forgot the bog. With a quiet stirring melancholy of a time I played. My remembrances of love and of times spent in happier days. Now I search for this phenomena each time I pass through reflecting on my happier past searching for a time I had you. Frantically negotiating this light in the dew. This phenomena you. Joel to my (White Dove) I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Your words are filled with passion Joel. Such a gift you have. Loved this one too, you are one of my favorite poets here. Keep up the great work. Daniel The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |
