Never again... I can’t look into your without feelings pain, It’s hard to believe you even it may be the truth Tears, they flow but the pain never ceases And still in my dreams I cry Never again, will things ever be the same? We took a walk well at least we tried... The steps keep getting heavier... In search of lands beyond the present I fear for what we both may find Never again, will I ever feel better? While we embraced still I was cold... You held my hand still I felt numb Still every time I look away, you catch a glimpse And yet my heart sinks when you call Never again...? If all was light...then I would have never learnt the dark...from which such truth evolves from which evolves the light... Avanti Rao |

At the end of each stanza you ask a question. 1. No things will never be the same. 2. Yes you will feel better in time. 3. yes it will be again, but not the same. Anguish rises in a futile journey with someone dispassionate, on a lonely path. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind...
