Cursed moon. Used to bathe in the light, Bask in the glow. My eyes, up they lift, Only now to see that shining face Laughing at me. Teasing me with its soft comfort, Knowing no lover and I shall roll And dance in lunar ecstasty, Sanity incredibly. I stand solitare beneath rays That bring burns eyes can't see. Remembering when someone shared this Pain with me. We would lick each other's wounds, Bearing bandadges, rise up to Bravely face yet another night. Profane moon. Sticking shafts of light in My memories of plight. *****kynder quote: |

A great ending: Sticking shafts of light in My memories of plight I can't count how many nights I've howled at the lonely moon. Joel. I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
