Heart Thaw

Like rays of the sun
melt away the winter
the light of your beauty
warms the core of my soul
and away runs the pain
in rivulets it flows
transformed from the mantle
that held frozen my heart...

This is so true, I had locked down, and deep frozen my heart, and with one kiss, it had thawed.
Love this little piece.
Joel.

I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel.

It was the title that drew me in, and I am very glad that I read your poem. Oh Wow, Nameless one, now this is so powerful.  I relate completely. I wonder did you write this for me?  Your poem is short, to the point and perfect, sometimes less really is more! *The last two lines are absolutely beautiful. I look forward to more poems by you!

Take care,

The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship."
