The writing is on the wall And the wall is falling hard Tumbling without any regard Crashing down years of tears Crushing every dream Nothing to be salvaged Destruction all around The looming crack realized I did not make the repair I watched it's deterioration Helpless of how to restore So I let it crumble Watched it take it's toll Did not try to save it Helped to meet it's demise Threw stones at it hard Trying to make it quick Now I lay in a heap Paralyzed under it's weight Screaming to be let free No one hears Caught in the rubble Smoke still rising Life quickly fades Seen it coming Acted little too late No turning back now As I sit amongst the ruins |

I hear your cries. If I could pull you from that pain I would quickly do so. I've only recently pulled myself from that sufficating weight, and the freedom is a overwhelming feeling. I hope you can do the same. It's funny how we know that it's comming, and merely sit back and wait. I really love this piece. hope to read and relate to some more. HelenaJ |
