She has unending supply of
Their constant demand.
It shines bright like evil
Diamond light.
No matter where,
They always know.
Can smell it on her bones.
Like water, they crave it.
Beggin' to enter,
Open sesame?
Wheat?
Rye?
Plain?

They always surpass her shallow soothing waters,
Jump feet first in her deep, enveloping end.
This poor girl.
Tired of all these laps,
Wishin' she could just wade....
...look at the curvaceous coral reefs,
Marvel at the rainbow of creatures beneath,
Childlike wonder,
Playing with glee.

But, no.
These fiends salivate for more,
Drooling for depths no man could have dared
Go before.
Fools.
Little do they know.

So many soft,delicate treasures in
Her waters low.
Hidden entrances to caves that require a
Pace oh, so slow.
Deep, warm & comforting,
Revealing heights never known.

Hers is a heavy road to hoe.
Destined, it would seem, to be pursued by
Those who only need,
Those addicted to the high they hope
She just might feed.
Knocks on her door,
Phone calls at 3 a.m.,
Afternoon delight so sickeningly sweet,
"C'mon baby, you know you want some company."

I really like this one. Gives insight to the way others look at themselves.

Mixing the water, tide pools, coral reefs, into and around the soul, body, mind.
Depths unknown. Well I for one man want a snorkel.
This is excellent
A great howwwlller.

Great work. Thank for giving sympathy to the someone more than often precieved as the bad guy. There should be a certain amount of that given to that whole culture.
