Quicksilver Days The sky china blue with not a ripple on the sea it feels good to be alive a wholeness of me the kind of day that takes you back to when everything was new and there was wonder in the world and there was right and there was true We must savor days as such and pause for life`s simple joys a smile from a happy child and a home that hasn`t been destroyed These days are like mercury in your hand handle them carefully and watch them shine But dare to blink and what seemed solid will run away with no hope again to find so console yourself with the fact that what doesn`t change is change and live your life to love your life before there are no more quicksilver days |

Very lovey poem A very good read Daniel The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |

Very up lifting. And very good. Joel I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

I enjoyed this poem immensly, though I think my quicksilver days are far behind me. True, change is probably the only thing that never changes. Rich |
