Although we are parted, fond memories are mine loving times and all good hearted. Memories of good places, Disney world and Florida glades, and sunny spaces. We did have some fun, and traveled together, now the sun has set, to different times we might be better. You know that I loved you, with all that I had We have grown different and that’s not all sad.. Although we have parted are paths still mix now and then, our love produced two shining stars, a light never seen before, nor ever again. I still think of you sometimes in the night, fond memories come to mind remembering your Freckle funny face, it had been quite a sight. If I could take back or change any pain never resolved, I’d do it in a second, no matter what it involved. Hoping you look back to our youth play to only our fond memories, as our hearts did love on yesterday To the (Funny Freckle Face) Joel. ------------------------------------- This is to my X of a 20 year marriage. Divorced over 2 years. With two beautiful children Don’t get this wrong, I’m happy it happened, just needed to get some of this out. As they say in the land down under, No worries. hahaha... Joel, Great job!!! It is always best to get those feelings out. Sounds like you have some fond memories though. Hang on to them!!! Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |

Wonderful work Joel, Fond memories to forever cherish.*S* The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, not the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone believes in him and is willing to trust him with his friendship." --Ralph Waldo Emerson |

it`s funny how you can love someone and not be in love with them, i love my X of a 10 year marriage also with 2 wonderful children i`m just not IN love with her anymore, there`s nothing i wouldn`t do for her i just can`t live with her. Your poem brings out a lot of memories for me also...thank you Joel i really enjoyed this one. |

Wonderful that you can look back at all the good memories...some when they part want to hold on to the sadness. James |

Good Job Joel! I'm glad that you are happy to be away from your ex but hold on to those memories...they should live forever. shadow Love is our greatest weakness but when it's found, it's our greatest strength. |

Thank you one and all your comments mean a lot to me right now. As in all break ups we did have some hard times, and I carried them around with me, But I’ve tried very hard to shake them all off, and have seceded far beyond even my expectations, I had very dark thoughts there. But swimming in the light now. On this subject anyway. hahaha A howwwlll for you all. Joel I howl a mornful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |

Sorry Joel I didn't comment on the depth of this poem just the aussie bit... It is good that you look back on those times and smile. I hope she does too. For in every break up there were always good times had and shared earlier on and they were special and should be remembered as so.
