Laughing at nothing much at all Being BIG but wanting to be small Talking like a child acting the fool Wishing I was back in school Running through fields, falling head over heals Skinning your knee, remembering how it feels Rollerblading down the road, acting like a fool Dancing to music, thinking I was so cool My chilhood memories I wish to open up Catch that free spirit, run a muck We all have it in us to be like a child Free and easy, running wild Why can't we let everyone see The child that's inside you and me  Keep all the windows of your mind open Anne Rooks |

Perhaps our child is not inside but merely part of what is outside a mask to look at in the mirror to look into the past who knows beautiful poem Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again, Because a vision softly creeping, Left its seeds while I was sleeping, And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains Within the sound of silence. |

This is like a piece I wrote, called “ when did we stop playing tag” I teach on occasions small children, and I make sure I play tag with them. Thank you for the memories Joel. |

Tracie~ Loved this! For me, it was rollerskating-not bladeing...makes me feel old!  Not really, I'm headed to 30 this November and still feel 14 inside!! My kids think I'm silly. ((good!!))-SEA |

Very nice piece. Sometimes it seems like we're forced to grow up too fast and it's times when we stop to dance to the music or run a muck that are the best. Thanks!  |

Walter~ Perhaps you are right, thanks so much for your reply Joel~ So glad I could bring back some memories for you and what a rewarding job teaching littlies Michael~ I hope you do run a muck still, it's great isn't and I hope I don't stop being that kid either  Sea~ Well that's my inner child for you, it used to be rollerskates as a teen now I'm 33 and it's rollerblades for me  I'm glad someone else has kids who think they're silly, my daughter thinks i'm crazy.By the way my birthday is in November as well, I'm a scorpio.
