As the title beared,
a lonely self same by the sea..
He looked in the mirror to find it was me...
Fortune struck...beds aflame..
Hearts incrusted with crosses to blame..
Shallow souls bleeding once more..
The castle rests evermore...
At last within his safe horizon
calmness of empty space reveals...
everything for what it should be..
not that which it is...
A sliver of time, all which is alloted..
A shimmer of love on which he was besoted
A shaft of anguish...possessing his mind..
a slice of his heart when they became parted...
And all that was..he would again..
for tasting that time,
and drinking that song..
gave his prespective in his soul..
and boundairies of his life..
He learned, and live,
Loved and cried..often in the same night..
so he approached the castle by the Sea...
and looked in to the waters to see...
he saw it wasn't him ha the pain had wrecked...

it was me...

Your work never ceases to intrigue me, Edward.  This was a most excellent piece.  Loved the ending.

This is close to home.
So many times I had loved and cried in the same night,
And on the beach, of where I grew up. walking the shores.
Thank you, Edward, for a Sunday morning experience when all are asleep.
Joel.

Edward,
This is a great piece!!  Very thought provoking.

Edward, this was so moving!!  It made me ache, for him, for you and for me..... Beautiful work
