I can see out from the darkness, Things have changed yet again, But I make this solemn oath, I will never be the same as I was back then. I'm stepping out of the darkness, I'm here to stay in the light, No more do I not trust myself, I am so tired of the fight. I know what I am, It's your loss if you refuse to see, There is only a loving lifeforce, Shining within me. There is nothing evil, There never was, I allowed myself to be whipped, I allowed so many things.. But never again will I live in darkness, Though I may visit from time to time, Never again will I lose faith in myself, Never again will I dwell in the grime. I am proud and strong, Proud of all that I've become, There is no battle, We are all created equal... Just let me shine, You don't have to like what you see, Just love the truth in this heart and soul, For I don't like the darkness, it was never meant for me. There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Great poem! I like the courage that this poem exhibits, it shows that you definately are strong enough to move on with life after living in the darkness for so long. Good job. <3 shadow Love is our greatest weakness but when it's found, it's our greatest strength. |
