Oceans of grief, I've cried oceans of tears, I've always given oceans of love, To all throughout the years. Dark, forbiding sky, Likened to the darkness in my soul, The darkness is hemming me in again, Who exactly is in control? Sighing.......... I've sighed so many times, They've always gone unnoticed, No one seems to hear... Confusion, nothing is clear anymore, Don't know if I'm coming or going, Daily tasks now a burden, I simply hate the not knowing. Promises broken, trusts shredded, Responsibility is only a word, So many things simply ignored, You never, ever heard. Weakened now, To weak to carry on, Frightened too, The day is too long. I long for the nightime, And the darkness in which I hide, I long for security, Someone in whom I can confide. Tired now, too tired to go on, Sleep no longer a friend, But an enemy denied to me, Is this the end? Or simply the beginning of another day in my blase' reality????????????????? There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

Oh yes Isis it seems I've written a few about my feelings also...and usually when I was really hurting or really pissed off. I think this poem fits into those categories..hope things get better for you hon...James |
