This suffering of a hunger
that I am unable to sate
I drown myself in crocodile tears
as in this descent of hunger,
as I allow my bones to crack,
and break.

The bone caress's the flesh inside
and dances down the nerves, frayed as they are
pink and white caverns of agony
the pain becomes tolerable, yet
is allways there.

The suffering of this hunger
is mandatory for me
don't be fooled by my fluidity of pain
for my mask of smile can't hold much longer
and now the suffering of my hunger
has become the destiny.

you certainly put the words together well. and great images, too. interesting (in a good way) work.

wow  you have really expressed your thoughts in this one SO very well...i felt this poem
very good work, take care, jm

Do you live by the book, do you play by the rules
Do you care what is thought by others about you
If this day is all that is promised to you
Do you live for the present, the future the past...
