Do you curse the day you were born your soul tattered and torn hate the very date as if it somehow sealed your fate? Do you look upon life with hatred- disdain some how blaming it for all of your pain? Do you lay in bed at night sobbing into your pillow Not wanting to hold on but unable to let go? Do you scream in silent agony that life is so unfair and try to convince yourself that you no longer care? Do you lay in the darkness unable to see the light and wonder if things will ever once again be right? Do you think you're strong when you are weak because your pride refuses to let you speak? Do you have things in your heart you're needing to say but ignore those things brush them away? Do you realize it's okay to grab a helping hand that there is someone out there who's sure to understand? Do you know the weak become strong when they chose to fight against the darkness closing in and the dying of the light? Do you know these things yet chose to disreguard given up on trying trying's just too hard? Do you want to be like me one who no longer tries who has only herself to blame for the teardrops from her eyes? very emotional piece...we all do at one time or another...hopefully our writing answers all our questions. take care, jm and you can say baby... baby can I hold you tonight maybe if told you the right words... at the right time, you'd be mine... baby can I hold you tonight... tracy chapman |

i thought this poem was interesting..you started in a negative way then talked of helping hands so I thought it would end on a positive note...but then it swung back again to a sad and lonely ending. I think we all feel this way sometimes...and if your writing helps you then great..but you are never alone....remember there are people all around who will listen and care Take care Tess "What is a friend? Once again Starr you speak to me...Its like we are sisters that are far away from each other that have a strong bond in the same feelings we endure...Your words always speak to me....*huggz* Messenger of fear in sight Dark deception kills the light ~Metallica~ |
