Wish filled lies fall from our lips Our desire explodes - fierce and ruthless Expecting to be noticed, it shakes our hearts With a force neither can retain Sleepless nights give way to lustfull spirits Dreams, a bridge to a discontented reality Over waves of desperation Awakening guilt replaces stealthy dreaming Fear of roads with no u-turns Scrambling for old comforts Nightmares, a bridge to repentfullness Over oceans filled with sharp-toothed serpents Hungry for our souls [This message has been edited by mcclain (edited 03-22-2000).] |
