Wish filled lies fall from our lips
Our desire explodes - fierce and ruthless
Expecting to be noticed, it shakes our hearts
With a force neither can retain

Sleepless nights give way to lustfull spirits
Dreams, a bridge to a discontented reality
Over waves of desperation
Awakening guilt replaces stealthy dreaming

Fear of roads with no u-turns
Scrambling for old comforts
Nightmares, a bridge to repentfullness
Over oceans filled with sharp-toothed serpents
Hungry for our souls

Hi and welcome... I just read your first post as well, very well written, you use lots of  emotional imagery...
look forward to more of your work...
take care, jm

 and you can say baby...
baby can I hold you tonight
maybe if told you the right words...
at the right time,
you'd be mine...
baby can I hold you tonight...

This is so good, I really like these lines:

Nightmares, a bridge to repentfullness
Over oceans filled with sharp-toothed serpents
Hungry for our souls

So dark and using the ocean..*chills*....

wonderful work
