Love's broken scarred body is in a heap At first glance, Love looks defeated But wait...step closer and you will hear Love's quiet shallow breath Love has not yet given up the fight But the battle has been long and difficult Weariness has set in and rest is needed Before the final confrontation This is going to be the ultimate conflict It will determine whether Love lives or dies The importance is paramount to all Love will fight to the death All will only be lost if Love dies And is forced to give up the fight Love's will is relentless and He will try To conquer the demons out to destroy him The demons number three... Jealousy, insecurity, and poor self image They are enormous in stature And make their presence known They do have a weakness and can be conquered By Love, Trust, and Security Combined they are more powerful than Any demon...real or imaginary. Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. Smith |
